Family Program

The Museo Larco invites families to enjoy a unique experience by exploring its collection.
Through interactive activities, challenges, and games, all family members will embark on a journey of discovery through ancient Peru.

General Information

For	Families with children aged 3 to 12
Duration	1 hour and 15 minutes
Languages	Spanish or English
Availability	Monday to Friday: Starting at 11:00 a.m. \| Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: Starting at 9:00 a.m.
Participants	Maximum of 10 visitors per group. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Gods of Ancient Peru

Travel through time and learn about the most powerful gods of pre-Columbian Peru and their importance in the lives of ancient Peruvians.

For	Families with children aged 3 to 12 years
Duration	1 hour and 15 minutes
Activities	Exploration of objects, recreation of the Sacrifice Scene, and the making of headdresses with animal features.

Fruits of Ancient Peru

Today in Peru we enjoy delicious natural products that were domesticated thousands of years ago by ancient Peruvians. Which is your favorite? Explore the Museo Larco visible storage and find it!

Activities	Games, exploration of objects, storytelling and a collage of favorite products.

The Journeys of Ai Apaec

Learn about Ai Apaec, the mythical Mochica hero, who fought different creatures from the ocean and the world of darkness, in defense of the harmony of nature’s cycles.

For	Families with children aged 7 to 12 years
Duration	1 hour and 15 minutes
Activities	Treasure hunt, exploration of objects, recreation of battle scenes and making your own comic strip.

This payment is made in addition to the entrance tickets.

For Family Programs, children should pay the program from 3 years old.

Booking e-mails must be sent a minimum of one week in advance, and include date, time and the ages of the children.

Any modification to the scheduled time must be requested at least 24 hours in advance, and will be subject to availability.

The museum will wait 15 minutes for late arrivals. After this time, the museum will be under no obligation to provide the service.

The Museo Larco has designed thematic interactive educational programs for students at all levels: kindergarten, elementary and secondary. All bookings must be made in advance.

Daily Visits

Visit the Museo Larco in the company of our museum educators. We offer daily visits in Spanish and English, at fixed times. Spots are available on a first-come first-served basis.
